The Pilot House is located at 1833 SE 17th Street Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.  It is next to a small canal behind the Fort Lauderdale Hilton hotel near the 17th Street Causeway Bridge.  The Association currently maintains four pilot boats of approximately 41 feet in length.  The Association normally operates one boat at all times.  However, we frequently have two or more pilot boats operating during peak traffic periods. 

The pilot boats are generally for the exclusive use of transporting pilots.  Due to heightened security in the post-September 11th environment, there will also frequently be a law enforcement official or port security personnel aboard the pilot boat.
